DESCRIPTION:For youth ages 6-17yrs \nStarts Wednesday\, Aug 14th and ends Saturday\, Sept 21st (5 weeks) \nAges 6-11: Wednesdays 2-2:45pm + Saturdays 10:30-12pm \nAges 12-17 Wednesdays 2:45pm-3:45pm + Saturdays 10:30-12pm \n@ Aloha Kihei CrossFit \nPurchase Tickets Here. \n\n(please wear tennis shoes and workout shorts\, and bring a water bottle) \nDuring this 5-week program\, kids will be learning core\, body weight\, weight training and cardio exercises with a focus on varied movements. \nThis will be at Aloha Kihei CrossFit\, a world-class gym with all the equipment needed to help our youth become the best athletes they can be. \nThis program will be taught by Coach Alana who is a certified CrossFit Kids Coach and Level 2 Trainer\, and Terri Nicholson who is also a Level 1 CF-OL1 Trainer who will lead the 6-11yr olds. \nThis program will have a heavy teaching emphasis on nutrition which we are very excited for! \nAthletes will learn they are capable of so much more than they think while having fun in the process! \nAfter every workout\, there will be a “huddle” where the Coaches will sit down and go through a Bible message\, learning how to integrate sports and faith in Jesus Christ. SUMMARY:Father/Son\, Daddy/Daughter Basketball Program
DESCRIPTION:Saturday’s: 3:30-5:30pm \nAt Hope Chapel basketball court \nAugust 3\, 10\, 17\, 24 \nBoys & Girls 6-15yrs \nDad’s or whoever is the male father figure in the home \nPurchase Tickets Here. \n\n(Please wear non-marking shoes. Basketballs provided) \nDuring this program\, dads will get to participate with their kids in skills and drills on the basketball court! \nWe are excited for the opportunity dads will have to play sports with their kids. \nNot only will we help Dads coach their kids athletically\, but we want to come alongside dads as they grow to be the spiritual leaders of the home. \nAt the end of each practice session\, we will have a huddle time where kids will huddle with the kids\, and dads will huddle with the dads. During this time\, dads will go through a handbook we have created helping dads to not only coach their children athletically but spiritually lead them in the purpose of God\, fulfilling Psalm 78\, to “tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord\, His power and the wonders He has done.” \nThis program will be led by former international basketball Pro\, Josh Duinker and Tim Kuykendall who has been 15-year chaplain for the AAA Seattle Mariners baseball team. \nFor further questions\, email verticalsportsmaui@gmail.com \nLimited spots available! \nVertical Sports Maui is a 501c3 non-profit organization. \nAll our programs are funded and made possible primarily through donations. \nOne of our core values is making our programs accessible to all.
