DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us at our 4th Annual Sports Ministry Conference \nThis conference starts with registration at 8:00 am with workshops and lectures from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. This conference is open to all – whether you are involved in sports or just want to take advantage of some great training! \nFrom 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm there will be an optional hands-on demonstration of the “Competing Biblically” approach\, specifically for coaches looking to implement this philosophy in their practices and workouts. \nTickets are $20 which includes a delicious lunch\, or you can get a free ticket which does not include lunch. \nThis year our conference will be moderated by Vertical Sports’ Director of Coach Development and Athletics\, Tim Kuykendall. \nJoining Tim will be Ron Brown\, Co-Founder of Kingdom Sports; Gordon Thiessen\, Co-Founder of Founder of Kingdom Sports and Founder of Cross Training Publishing; and Cole Espensheid\, also of Kingdom Sports. \nRon will be speaking on  “Cross – The Gospel in Sport.” \nGordon will speak on “Capable – How to Apply the Word to Sport.” \nRon will return to the stage to teach  “Character – How to develop a culture of character within your team and program.” \nAt 1:00\, Cole\, Ron\, and Gordon will teach “Compete”\, an optional hands-on demonstration of the “Competing Biblically” approach\, specifically for coaches looking to implement this philosophy in their practices and workouts. \nPurchase Tickets Here. \nFor further questions\, email tim@verticalsportsmaui.com

DESCRIPTION:Join Vertical Sports Maui on Saturday morning\, May 10 at the Annual Maui Charity Walk.  It’s a fun event that begins at War Memorial Complex with a 2 1/2 mile walk with break (swag) stations along the way. When you finish your walk there will be a breakfast\, entertainment\, and door prizes! It’s a fun way to meet people\, support Vertical Sports Maui\, and be part of the Maui community. \nThe registration fee of $50 will be attributed to Vertical Sports Maui if you choose our org from the drop down menu. \nWear your Vertical shirt if you have one and come enjoy the morning with us! There will be NO parking at the gymnasium parking lot.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Charity Walk\n\nThe Charity Walk\, founded in 1974 and expanded statewide in 1978\, is now Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a non-profit organization. Since its inception\, more than $42.8 million has been raised to support hundreds of local charities throughout the state. Spearheaded by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association and its non-profit arm Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation\, the Charity Walk is traditionally held every May on Hawai‘i\, Kauaʻi\, Lāna‘i\, Maui\, Moloka‘i\, and O‘ahu. Money raised on each island or county stays there. \nMaui County successfully raised $1.5 million benefiting 52 Maui County non-profit organizations in 2024. Since MHLA started hosting the Charity Walk in 1980\, we have raised a cumulative total of $18 million in Maui. We continue to achieve and surpass our goals year after year with the continued support of our amazing community! DESCRIPTION:For boys & girls ages 2.5 – 5 yrs old (Must show proof of age!) \n4 weeks on Saturdays \nMay 10th – May 31st \n10:30am-11:00am \n@ Aloha Kihei CrossFit \nPurchase Tickets Here. \n\nPlease have your child wear tennis shoes and workout shorts\, and bring a water bottle. \nDuring this 4-week program\, kids will be learning core movements\, body weight and cardio exercises to build athleticism while building healthy habits for health and wellness. \nThis will be at Aloha Kihei CrossFit\, a world-class gym with all the equipment needed. \nThis program will be taught by Coach Alana who is a certified CrossFit Kids Coach and Level 2 Trainer and Coach Adrienne\, a Level 1 Online CrossFit Coach. \nAs part of every session\, there will be a “huddle” where the Coaches will sit down and go through a Bible message\, learning how to integrate sports and faith in Jesus Christ.
