SUMMARY:Hana Summer Two-Day Baseball Camp
DESCRIPTION:Vertical Sports Summer Baseball Camp – July 8 AND 9 \n9:00 am – noon \nHana High School \nFor ages 7-12 \nThis clinic will emphasize the fundamentals of hitting and pitching. What to bring – water bottle\, glove\, bat\, helmet\, cleats. This Camp Is Limited to the first 36 athletes to sign up. \nJoin Vertical Sports Director of Baseball and Athletics\, Tim Kuykendall\, as he teaches the importance of building a strong fundamental base for hitting\, throwing\, and pitching. Coach Kuykendall is a former Division I baseball player where he earned All Pac 10 honors at Washington State University as well as Pac 10 North Player of the Year in 1989. He was elected into the Washington State Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2022 as a successful high school baseball coach in Washington State. \nOnce registered\, you will get emailed a QR code. Present this QR code upon arrival to check-in. \nOur mission is to inspire & equip youth through sport. We aim to develop the complete athlete\, physically\, mentally & spiritually. \nThere is so much to learn through the game beyond just baseball skills\, but also to live out the purpose God created us for. It’s amazing what you can teach a child with a baseball in your hands! \nVertical Sports Maui is a 501c3 non-profit organization. \nAll our programs are funded and made possible primarily through donations. \nOne of our core values is making our programs accessible to all. For those who are able\, we encourage to donate something but it is up to each family to determine if/what they are willing to pay for these training opportunities. \nMahalo for your support! DESCRIPTION:Come join Coach Whitney as she teaches basic cheer/dance for three sessions: July 10\, 17\, and 24 for ages 6-12. There are a limited number of tickets so register soon before the tickets are gone.  Coach Whitney has coached at Vertical Sports Camp for several years and is excited to offer this clinic! \nThis event is staffed entirely by local volunteers who are passionate about building relationships with kids and sharing the gospel. This Camp Is Limited to the first 36 athletes to sign up. \nJoin Elliot Johnson\, an outstanding former collegiate coach\, who ranked 8th among active coaches on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics career victory list (17th all-time) and 8th in career winning percentage (13th all-time). At last count\, 14 of his players have become head coaches. \nThis camp also features Vertical Sports Maui’s Director of Baseball and Athletics\, Tim Kuykendall\, as he teaches the importance of building a strong fundamental base for hitting\, throwing\, and pitching.
