We use the power of sports to inspire and equip youth—on the field and in life. Every program we run is designed to ignite confidence, strengthen character, and create a community where kids feel seen, supported, and inspired to rise.
On an island still rebuilding, we’re giving Maui’s youth a place to grow, dream, and belong. From high‑energy camps to skill-developing clinics and year‑round mentorship, we’re shaping the next generation with excellence, integrity, and hope.
We’re not just running sports programs—we’re raising leaders. And we can’t do it alone. Whether you volunteer, donate, or help spread the word, you become part of a movement that’s transforming lives one young athlete at a time.

The Champion Circle – our Monthly Giving Community
The Champion Circle is made up of people who believe in the power of sports to shape confidence, character, and faith in Maui’s youth. By giving as little as $25/Monthly, members provide the steady support that fuels coach discipleship, strengthens programs, and ensures every child has access to a safe, fun, Christ-centered sports environment.
This isn’t just a giving program—it’s a movement. A team. A circle of supporters committed to investing in the next generation.

On-Going Sports Programs
Outside of our camps, at Vertical Sports we host ongoing sports programs for kids throughout the year. At the end of some of our ongoing programs and clinics we have tournaments. We train kids physically, mentally and spiritually to grow into the total athlete. We put our youth to the test in tournaments where we have fun competing against one another and putting into practice what we have learned.
We offer a variety of programs, which run predominately on a donation basis.

Maui Classic
Every December since 2015, we present a Division 1 College Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament in hosted by Oregon State. Before the tournament, teams go into local Maui schools to do basketball clinics and school assemblies.
2025 teams: Oregon State, University of Hawaii, Montana State University, and Liberty University.

Sports Ministry Conference
Equipping the people of God to do the work of God, in the context of sport.
Held each Quarter 1, this is a half‑day gathering designed to equip, inspire, and unite coaches, volunteers, athletes, parents, community members and ministry leaders who believe sports can shape lives for Christ. Through powerful teaching, practical breakout sessions, and real stories from the field, you’ll gain tools to build stronger teams, lead with purpose, and create environments where every athlete knows they belong and were made for more.
You’ll walk away encouraged, sharpened, and ready to influence the next generation with confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of calling.

Sports Camp
Vertical Sports Camp is a high energy, Christ-centered week in June where kids build confidence, make friends, and discover who God created them to be through the joy of sports. With over a dozen sports to choose from, every child can find something they love—whether they’re trying something new or growing in a sport they already enjoy. Each day blends skill building, team challenges, worship, and encouragement from caring coaches who create a safe, positive environment for beginners and experienced athletes alike.
Camp 2026 is in the books and so many people have said it was the best one yet! We are so grateful for all the volunteers who came out to support the keiki of Maui. Lives were changed! And our generous campers raised another record-breaking amount (over $3800) for Change for Change which will help Rafa’s fight against lukemia!
