Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe (only morning – 6-14 yrs) We are excited to add this new sport this year! Flag/Touch Rugby (6-14yrs, afternoon only): Touch/Flag Rugby is a fun, safe, team game that develops a range of ball handling, running and evasion skills. While being taught the fundamental rules and ethos of Rugby, participants learn the importance of teamwork and respect for opponents, coaches and referees, which are key elements of the sports culture. There will be a focus on growing integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect, as athletes and children of God. This sport will take place at Kalama Park.

Each day, kids will have a “huddle” where the Coaches will sit down and go through a Bible lesson in the Camp Workbook, learning how to integrate sports and faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that our youth can maximize their potential when they grow physically, mentally and spiritually. This is a great opportunity for child development!

On Friday, the last day of camp, we will have a sports-themed Church service at Hope Chapel. We will have a panel of our guest coaches to interview and share some insights from their sporting careers and faith journey’s at Hope Chapel Kihei @ 6:30pm which we encourage all kids to attend with their families! This will be a great time to connect with every kid from every sport and celebrate their hard work together throughout the week. There will be prizes handed out along with a cheer performance from the campers!

There will also be a Father’s Day service Sunday at 8:30am & 10:30am.
